From what I understand, only 3M makes a "goop" that will stick to polyethelene plastic (a.k.a. StarBoard). It is actually a glue that stinks to high heaven and has to be kept refrigerated. The "system" is about $70 just to get you into it. I have tried every glue I could get my hands on and NONE of them will work except the 3M product. That's been my experience with the stuff.

What are you going to do about your bow light? Just curious. Your finished pulpit is AWESOME.

Great job

He might go w/a split red/green in two seperate housings...I had to do that cause of trolling motor on bow... :)...

Hey Rap, got any pics of the trolling motor? I've been thinking about adding one because of all the skinny water fishing here.

Re: Anchor Pulpit DONE!!

Yeah...you gonna need one on that new CC...mines a Minn Kota Rip Tide AUTO-PILOT and has the little Co-Pilot control box...

Auto-Pilot is GREAT...set a heading, go to the back of the boat and put your lines out or whatever and you'll still be on that course instead of up on an oyster bed...for saltwater, you definately need the Rip-Tide...Co-Pilot is neat, but I wouldn't pay the extra $150 for it...didn't order it on mine, but it came w/ it anyway...didn't call 'em back and argue about it...V20 needs the 70lb thrust which is 24 volts so add $$ for 2 BIG batteries(mine are 31s)...and while you've got the $$$ valve open, get a Guest on-board charger to keep those bats HOT...well...now that I've spent $1000+ of your money, I'm feelin' a little SPENT myself...like old Deano used to say:"I goin' to da couch now!"...
;) ;D... 8)...

Check out Galley for pics, Franco...can't deploy on trailer, so those are about as good as I can get just now... :D...lemme look in Photobucket and see if there's any better shots...

Here's a TM shot...http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y90...n/Image003.jpg

As you can see, center of bow-rail gotta go...onna CC, TM should mount sos it's angled over port gunwale, meaning replacing the bow light w/ one higher than TM or splitting like mine(it's only money) ::)...you'll need a good quality SS plug-in... ;)...

Auto-Pilot "Dos and Don'ts:
DO keep batteries HOT...they operate better
DON'T ever lay it down w/ Auto-Pilot "ON"...electro-magnetic compass will continue searching for bearing and go CRAZY :o, which will make you CRAZY later... ::) :P...

Get the long shaft...you'll need it in ruff water...TTFN... ;D...

Oh yeah...when loading boat onto trailer and going over the bow to hook up, careful of your new 70lb thrust Norton Snagger... :-[...particularly if prop is still spinning... :o...

MAN RA!!! Ur my hero!!! I have often thought of a trolling motor on a 20, but figured you would need a 196" shaft to hit water from the bow of the beast.

Thats cool!!

I can just see me bustin sum bream from the bow of a v-20 upriver somewhere. ;D
