willy ,I'm on Long Island, north shore NYCity is 45 miles to my west, MONTAUK 75 miles to my east. I fish the L.I. sound mostly, no need to travel elsewhere...bass ,blues,fluke,blackfish,they're all right at my front door. I'll usually surfcast the south shore

Congrats on the new ride. Just a heads up on the bottom paint situation. Make sure you get a paper suit from the marine store and cover every inch that you don't want the bottom paint color.
I learned the hard way! I looked like a smurf for about 2 days, got paint on the carpet, clothes, in our bed, needless to say, I'm sleeping in the guest BR for a couple of days. My CEO's not too pleased but she still complimented me on the paint job. Plus, I happened to mention that it saved us at least $700. It makes a ton of difference. Looks at least 10 yrs, newer.
