Actually, that story was circulated by an "anonymous source close to the Trump Campaign" that a conversation was overheard where he (President Trump) supposedly said that. No proof was ever submitted or was ever given to back it up. No name of the source was ever released.

President Trump has consistently shown in his actions and in his speeches that he holds our military in the highest regard. Your clinging to that myth about his saying differently just shows everyone that because of your hatred for President Trump you would rather believe unsubstantiated lies and innuendos rather than truth and facts.
