Pair, Inlines, Yes..

SSI makes some nice inset pieces for drink holders and such. Maybe not such a good spot for drink holders. 8" Pioneers are good speakers.

If the picture of the harness is the new one, you win the sarchasm award for the week.

Yeah I actually found a site last night with some cool stuff..... I'll look at ssi too..... nah that's the old harness... the new one had an inspection sticker from 1998 but I suspect that it was NOS just installed very recently when they were trying to diagnose the no spark condition

Well today I've done a bunch of grinding..... I now have the top of the transom closed up and waterproof. ...... I need to figure out something to cap it with at some point to make it look nice but at least it's not gonna rot now. I also patched the old engine mount holes..... she'll almost float now!

Today I took her to the carwash for a little bath.... then to the river. I backed it in and ran the engine for a while and then said heck with it and backed it off the trailer... immediately I remembered that the thruhull for the front fishbox was broken and zipped back on the trailer lol DUH.... I dug around and came up with a suitable repair and then backed her off again... I headed up river and gave here full juice.... I was trimmed too high and she just blew a hole in the water. I backed off and found the wires to trim down a bit.... put the screws to her again and she JUMPED right up in plane.... That lil 1150 is a heck of a motor... Plus it sounded so nice, almost don't even need a radio.

I didn't have any speed measuring device w me and I only opened her up for 30 seconds or so, thus I don't have any numbers for ya but I at least know that this combo is worth working on:sun:

All told she was off the trailer about 5 minutes but that's all I needed to feel REALLY good about this project.... Oh and I did get to bust a decent sized wake at speed.... got the little thump thump I was hoping for instead of getting slammed.... great riding hull.

Now to park her and get to work on other stuff for a while. I am definitely hooked tho...

Thanks, The second engine had a new one on it already so I'm set there.... unless I DO get silly and go to twins one day :D

It's a good feeling to have an unknown motor run that well and push you across the water like that!!...glad to hear she runnin' that good...now your task is to get everything you need installed and ready to fish...and consider weight on everything you do...try to keep as much weight down as you can...it'll help the 115 keep the zip...

Who needs a radio when you have the sweet sound of a tower of power
