CY, when I said turn it into a kicker, I meant sell it for enough to cover a new 9.9 Merc 4s. They only weigh 84 pounds, so they are very close in weight to a 2 stroke 9.9.

Yeah, Blue has a 72 thats for sale if somebody were to beg for it, but I don't think he's pushin real hard right now ;)

You're right, I haven't tried to push the boat over the winter. *But now is the time when all the project seekers are creeping out of hibernation and I should be able to sell it easier.

I need to clean her up real good and patch that hole RB found.

I'm thinking of putting it on eBay for $800 no reserve. *That's what I have in the transom repair I had done.

Here is what I have in it (which I do not expect to get all back):

$1000 Boat and Hull
$800 * Transom Repair
$500 * Complete Trailer Rebuild
$100 * Stainless hardware
Total: *$2400

This doesn't even count labor (except the transom).

I'd like to try to get close to half of it if possible *:-/

Thanks for the compliment MJ. Yeah, I like the look without the windshield too, but I'm quite certain I'll be wishing for it on those cold and windy days. Skools gave me a couple of ideas that I might follow up on later.

I'll give ya credit for popularizin' it, but Wind Talkin; was actually invented by a big ol' fat girl in Cleveland back in the 30s when she slipped on a banana peel...as she went down, she MOANED in the exact same pitch and resonance as the PHART she cut on impact :o ...all the magazine and newspaper-stands were leveled for BLOCKS and to this day she is accredited for inventing Wind Talkin (breaking wind and uttering audible sounds simultaneously) on a bronze plaque in downtown... ;) ::) ...
