Anyway, I have a question, I am doing a small drywall job, building a closet, one wall,
how do you get the corners to look good?
Get Lumber to come over and do it! While he is doing it you get the wife to sweet talk him, You get the boat ready, after he is done you take him catch some fish, go home and cook it on the grill have a few beers.

At least thats my plan, then maybe he will come by more often!

Really (I not who to ask) but in my old house I bought the metal angle they sell, just mud it to the wall, it keeps it from getting banded up and you get a perfect edge.

That's the way I did the outside corners, I have no problems with those,
I'm talking about the inside corners.

If Lumber saw how much work I have, one fish fry would not do,
I would have to buy a trailer for him to live in while he works on my house.

Dont go back and keep messin with the spackle , biggest problem is ppl keep goin over it to try and get it just a little smoother..

It dosent hurt to add alittle water to the spackle and mix it up real good so it nice and creamy just not to creamy tho:love:

after reading further down the thread you meantinside corner after the first coats done only do one angle at a time let it dry then do the other side

Thanks.

I didn't use the metal angle like MJ suggested,
I used the self stick yellow mesh tape.

I put extra mud on and then I will be sanding as smooth as I can.

After all it is a 200 year old house and no corner is perfect.
