Glad to hear everything went well. *I think that Merc may have a couple more Rpms in her if your not happy with performance. *5200 rpm isnt bad but I think with a high reving Merc you can get a few more grand out of her. *The boat looks good on the water, enjoy.

Mac, hmm big cost differnce from the $150.00 he quoted.
Hmmmmm, he is a Johnson and Evinrude motor repair guy. Maybe he doesnt know how to install a merc. pump. I can only guess that they are all about the same, wouldnt you agree.

Looks great! nice top also. I like the short strut connecting it to the windshield, I'vs never seen one like that. Keep up the good work.

I'd say all the hard work you've put into her more than gives you license to wear the V-20 shirt w/ lots of pride... 8)...

That 1st splash and pushin' the throttle to get her outta the hole...you'll never forget... ;) ;D...

Lookin Great my man. On that w/pump, if you buy the entire kit from the dealer your looking at 50-60 bucks for housing, seals, impeller, key, and gaskets. I'd assume the 150 quoted was installed and while not cheap, is probably a fair price to have it done. IF you've got them time, do it yourself. The more you learn about her the better you'll feel out there. I think tha motor is rated at 5000-5500 rpm's. So, your not bad in that department. She's probably got a 19p prop? Lookin good...
