well got it up last night. Man was the water cold even with a wet suit.taking to mech this morning. I hope I did everything right last night. Tides and weather were not helping. I do have some pics and will post later. the front runner in cause right now is that the siphon hose on bilge started a reverse flow and sank her slowly. That or transom went down low enough from rain and water entered thru the cable hole on side og engine well. I will know more when i get it completely out and can examine the transom and bottom.

awesome....good to hear!

what kind of problem can sinking do to the hull besides electrical? will this rot the stringers and transom?

Well It was time to replace transom. I could spin all engine bolts by hand. All that 5200 I put in this summer must not have had much to hold on to. Not much leakage but that plus the overflow on transom and the wire hole just overcame the bilge . It did not take long for the battery posts and wires to disolve. The real bad news was that the nachos did not make it. The good news was that my supply of slim jims survived. I did find out the cause of the overflow on transom. One of my neighbors has been ignoring the no wake zone at night coming back from late night stripper trips. We caught him last night. Turned him in I hope they sink the wonderful fellow.
