Re: Trailer Hub Question

Before sinking muney into a trailer check the framing to make sure that it is in good condition and not rusting through. I installed new axel, springs, bearings and replaced all of the rollers. when I was replacing the last couple of rollers towards the back of the trailer I reached down and grabbed the main frame for leverage. When I was pushing down on the wrench and pulling up on the frame my fingers went right through the frame. The rear of the trailer was trashed but it did not show until I gave it a good inspection. The good news was I cut off the rear and made a work trailer out of it so not all was lost.
