Don't forget to put a loop in the vent line that goes above the vent, to keep water from getting to the tank.

I noticed I can barely get over 16 gallons in each saddle tanks till it starts leaking. I like MJs Idea.
Sorta related question. Is there any real need for the check valve in the pickup tubes? One's missing. I dunno whether to replace it ot remover the other one. Any tho'ts? |

I got rid of mine years ago!! Some of these side tanks were 18 and some 20, that might explain why you get only 16 gal?

Think about it...when you 1st pump the gas, it just came outta the cool/cold ground ... all of a sudden it's in 85-90* temps and the stuff starts gettin' fat quick ;) ... gonna GO somewhere ;) ...
