My 1st car was a '61 Karman Ghia convertable...we were inseperable for years...til my sister left the road, left the ground and landed on RR trax...BENT the entire car just enough so doors would not stay closed...got tricky on the turns after that... ::)...

The VW served it's purpose and was fun but I hit my groove with my second car, 1965 Mustang red with black vinyl top, 289. Now the super model hunt began 8)

My firsy car was a 1967 dodge dart - beige - 4 doors - 225 slant six - added the ever popular 8 track, with the match book jammed under the tape so you hear the last track of Jimi Hendrix squeekin out of the speakers.
It was my grandfathers car, my dad inherited it when my grandfather passed. It was finally handed down to me in 72. When my uncle died a few years ago me and the wifey handeled the estate, I found the original bill of sale and temp tag from my first car!!

Hey Oz, now I know why you don't come down here, your aunt gave you that butt whippin' and it triggers deep emotional scars!! I hear that they have a new therapy that involves fishing, adult libations and cuban seegars. Gotta do it at the scene of the crime. I might be able to accomodate ya, and we can call in a specalist, Dr. Willy

My first car was a 1970 BMW 2002, 2.0 liter 4 banger w/100hp, man was that car a screamer, remember Phes?

I also installed an Audiovox 8-track w/built in 40w power booster w/co axial speakers, that thing cranked! Franco, I also had Jimi Hendix's Greatest Hits!

Somethings never change. Today I have a 1995 BMW M3 for my fun car.

;DFirst car; '69 Road Runner. 440 Magnum Tri-Power w/4speed. Got it at the auto auctions for $1800 as an insurance total. My best friends uncle owned a body shop and we both scored nice cars through him (He got a '70 Chevelle SS with something like 1200 miles on it). The Road Runner was only a little over a year old when I picked it up. Oh yeah, I bought it without my Dad's consent and he damned near killed me for buying it. He swore I was going to kill myself in that beast and I almost proved him right. I know that he secretly admired it once it was restored as i caught him on more than one occasion wiping dirt off of it and asking to take it out for a spin.
Actually, the first car was one of my fathers hand-me-downs that me and my sister shared. A '66 Ford Ranch Wagon. ::) The Road Runner was the first I bought of my own. 8) Wouldn't mind still owning it. :'(
