Charlie, whats up with your V, I thought you just bought it. Looks to be in real nice shape. Why the big conversion ideas to a bracket. Change over when the motor blows, but until then getter wet. ;)

I personally would not recomend this company to anyone for a bracket. A friend has on on his WELLCRAFT 248 and it is in horrible shape, and you can count on one hand how many times it's been in the water.

nah hammer. just thinkin about the future.
the boat is cleaner than hell and runs like a scalded dog.
however, in my haste to get her launched last season, i neglected some key areas.
in my abbreviated season i suffered alot of outdrive corrosion. i now have to drop it, strip it and repaint it.
i also must rebuild the trim rams, as the corrosion did a number on the seals.
now all i have to do is find another 6 to 8 hours every day to work on the dam thing.
im not sorry i bought it, because i can get it back, especially if i sell the top/enclosure separately, but i kinda wish it was outboard.

we'll see what the next couple seasons bring.
