Re: CA - v20 prices
Boat prices here in So. CA are up to par with the home prices. You would not believe the crap they sell out here for top dollar. I look at the boats you guys talk about on the east coast and gulf and really wonder if it would be worth it to drag em back here for re-sale. When I was looking for trailers for my V20 the prices were 4X what they are in Florida. The more amazing thing is that people pay the prices. I guess it's the price we pay for year round fishing without humidity.

Just because someone is asking a certain price doesn't mean it's worth that....Need to know what they SOLD for.

Re: CA - v20 prices
as i'ver said before we the owners control the worth of our boats. if we want them to be worth more then raise the asking prices everywhere and keep it high. then if someone wants one they have to pay the price.

Re: CA - v20 prices
Tin - I know of several v20's that have sold for upper teens in my area. All are in above average condition . . . I really think someone could make a business out of selling some of the better used east coast boats on the west coast.

Tin - Let me know. I just started a cush new job at UC Davis and I've finally got extra some extra time now.
What would it cost to get a RV to the west coast (if it were towing a v20)? |
Re: CA - v20 prices
in fuel you'd go broke average 5 to 7 mpg. At least mine is it get's 6 to 7 and it's a 35 ft PaceArrow. But pulling a boat that size say 3 to 4 mpg. ??? Ok 3000 miles to Calif. so at 5 mpg that's 600 gallons at say $2.50 average fuel cost would cost you around $1500 with the boat $2000 ???
Not to cheap on just fuel to move it. |
