Blue Runner: Skools is right ,it is $12,500 to enter and if you catch the big fishie you win over 1 million bucks plus all kinds of endorsements, free little darlins for life, fishing shows , lure manufactuers name lures after you etc etc....That buys lots of whiskey.....A tow boat captain friend of mine told me that they have already had several groundings where they hit the markers wrong or relied on charts to short cut long runs around the shoals at low tide...OUCH..what was that crunching noise...SO far I think someone caught a 450 pounder but they say they got some swimming around that go 800 or so....Frank

Hmmm, I went to the Big Rock website and they have an entry form that says $2500 and that top prize for BM is around $750,000? I thought total purse contained 1.5 mil, but half of that goes toward the gamefish awards, and in some pockets no doubt.

Maybe I read it wrong. I will go back and check.
