Here on the North Fork of LI not quite as bad but still lousy for the next couple days!

Some guy is on the weather channel right now and said it hasn't been this bad since the "Perfect Storm" of 1992.

We are finally going to get some rain, it has been very very dry here. There has been several brush fires burning thousans of acres, parts of interstste 95 have been shut down due to smoke and fires, We are thirsty here.

Looks like some heavy rain will be here shortly, enough already!!! Tomorrow they are forecasting light rain with fairly light SW winds....phester get your oil skins and get your azz out here....I'm sailing bright (well, maybe not so bright) and early!

Holy Crap! What's that bright thing in the sky that hurts my eyes to look at! Unfortunately it won't be there for long....more rain in forecast. :(

Heard 1st thing on news this morning, Merimack Riv has had raw sewerage runnin' into it for last 24 hrs... :P...they really oughtta COOK that $HIT B4 puttin' it in the river... ::)...
