Re: I did it
I am DYI guy!!
most of the time I save $$ but then there are others when CB helps me to find my way out the habar and we hit rocks and things, thats were I spend! :( |
Re: I did it
I think most of the people on this board are a combination of diy and hands on. we are a site devoted to a boat that has been out of production for more than a decade. the older i get, the more i realize that is is usually better to do what i do for a living & pay some one else to do what they do for a living.

Re: I did it
As I get a better grasp on middle age, I am starting to realize the same thing. OF course most of my life I COULDN"T afford to pay to have it done. I mean, if money were no object I'd have a fleet of boats for every purpose ;D

Re: I did it
if i could afford to pay someone else to do my hobby i wouldn't have a 20 yr old boat it would be a new one

Re: I did it
But it also depends on your line of work. As a contractor, the more work Lumber can perform, the more revenue he can produce.....so get out there and produce that revenue. Most of us probably have a steady income. IF I work 30 or 80 this week, I wind up with the same check.

Re: I did it
Airslot, I'd pick 30. ;D
Congrats on the new pusher LS. * I'm sure you did good on the price but wow, I can't believe how much an outboard motor costs these days. As for DIY or pay, I have no choice, I don't have the money. |
