Re: Thinking Of Buying a 1982 V-20 Fisherman
He never got back to me - so either it is sold or I asked the right questions. I had asked if the transom was a DIY - which would turn me off a bit - and asked about any soft spots too. Oh well - I'm now looking at:
1. 1978 20' Flare - good compression on a 150 Johnson 6/2006; solid hull; newer electronics; good shape overall. 2. 1995 Sunbird Runabout Neptune 200. 115 Evenrude - canvas top. This is in very nice shape - only freshwater use. Any thoughts on these two? Never really heard of either manufacturer??? |

Re: Thinking Of Buying a 1982 V-20 Fisherman
Reel - I had thought about that. The more I'm thinking - here I am sitting next to two great lakes and a bunch of finger lakes that are all freshwater. I probably ought to be patient and find one close to home. You thinking of selling your boat soon? I like that Honda 150 hanging off the back... :-)
