Re: Mooring
I's thinkin' about yer battery thing...Franco (AKA The Grand Pubah) has one of the solar chargers that seems to work well ... but of course he is in the Sunshine State 8) ... ya'll gots any sunshines up yonder ??? ...
...and the rock-dock'll sure keep the Blue-Hairs from gettin' on yer boat ;) ... |
Re: Mooring
Thanks guys :-[ Well I just packed my sleeping bag and a few 1/5 of Jimmy. I off to sleep in the boat. Hmm I wounder if I can steel a WiFi connections from one of the sorounding Mansions ;D
Just to make things more intresting, Wed - Thurs they are calling for S-SSW winds 15-25 with higher gusts. Waves 4 to 6 feet. With all seriousness I may pull the boat Wed. morinng I'm not sure how the cove will handle the SSW Swell :-X :-/ |
Re: Mooring
Curious, how deep is that water? Looks like a beautiful spot to fish out of.
|
Re: Mooring
Air, the cove is about 6ft @ low, but sonar reflects off the eel grass @ 1- 2ft, so it is scary/nerve racking comming in and out, but plenty of water.
Honestly, one of the best spots in RI for stripers is right in front of the cove. Thats what makes this spot so ideal, I do not need to go any further then 1 mile in any direction and be on fish, Fluke, Black Fish, Stripers @ Blues are all right there ;D |
