Destroyer, so I don't have to worry if it gets into the cut? That's great news. What do you do just put it in the cut?
Phatdaddy , the fabricator looks like he did a good job . That has to be so much easier than dropping buy hand
I will be putting crazy glue in my 1st aid kit tomorrow.

I usually just blot up any blood and then put a drop or two into the cut and pinch it shut. Hold it for a count of 15.

Not arguing - just an opinion, but I think glue in the cut probably retards the healing (knitting together of the meat) at least a little. I try to close it and put enough over the top to hold it long enough to grow back together.

You could be right Scook. I really don't know. I was told that cuts heal from the bottom up, so it never crossed my mind to think about them knitting together. In all cases, since the main desire is to stop the bleeding and seal the cut I think either way accomplishes that.

I agree. It saved an epic fishing trip for me - so many fish, my hands were in danger of falling off from the cracks. I got plenty of the glue down in the cracks and it got the job done.

Band Aid and tape still works for me but if using glue for cuts suggest using Dermabond, SurgiSeal, and Band-Aid Liquid Bandage.2

The issue I'm having with krazy glue is that you say put it in the cut and pinch it close, but I'm sure when you pinch it it will Aldo get on your fingers too So now your glued to the cut too. I know you going to say be careful but how careful can you be on a moving boat? Heck I get it on my fingers when I use it to glue rubber paddle tails on a hook.

Man, that's beautiful. Flat calm, clear water and a gorgeous V-20.
