Oops, better look again. CNN never walked back their lies about the protesters being tear gassed in order for Trump to have a photo op.

The same guy also never walked back his story about Russia putting bounties on killing American soldiers, despite it not being true. Same for his claims about Trump watching the capitol riots "with glee," and about Trump "encouraging and praising his violent mob," claims that he made with zero corroborating evidence.

President Trump did call the people protesting at the Capital "special people that he loved", but he was addressing the peaceful protestors outside the capital building... the roughly 20,000 people that were peacefully protesting.
