Wow, and I thought John McCain the " Rambo" of the party.....beloved by all.

Trump's like John Gotti when he was at his height of power.....they called him the " Teflon Don" because nothing bad stuck to him.....till it did.

We'll see. In the meantime, it's only about 120 days till I'm fishing again !!!

NO! Mcsame hasn't been liked in a LONG time. It took an EXTREME amount of gagging on vomit to vote for him in 08.

I should take them both fishing on my v21......Trump and McCain......I could just imagine:

Trump - " I'm going to catch the most fish, and the biggest fish, just you watch, it's going to be unbelievable. fantastic, amazing, because I'm a winner, and only losers get skunked"

McCain - " You'll never be a real man until you get skunked.....I've been skunked fishing many times and know what it is to come back without fish to feed my family.

Me - Ok, ok guys, shut up and get in the boat. By the way Donald.....did you happen to bring your wife ? It's ok with me if she joins us......:)

Agreed. They (Trumps administration) has had a couple minor stumbles, a party that controls the media and the teachers in our schools "resisting" him at every turn, a blatantly political court with an 85% overturn rate by the supreme court on their stupid decisions risking the security of all Americans notwithstanding. He's actually doing something that no previous president for a VERY long time has done. He's actually doing what he promised to do while he was campaigning. Bringing jobs back? Check. Extreme vetting of people from terror states? Check. Starting the process for building a wall on the border? Check. Repeal/replace the (un)ACA? Check. Ended funding for any group outside the USA that provides Abortions? Check. Signed a Presidential directive that makes all Federal agencies delete 2 rules (laws) for any new one they put in place? Check. I could go on, but you get the idea. He's actually doing what he said he would do. Even though he was not my first choice (I liked Cruz) I have to admit I like a man that does what he said he was going to do. Because of the way the tax laws are structured in Congress he can't do anything about taxes until the (un)ACA is taken care of, but I'm hopeful that will be done shortly. All in all I give him a solid A so far. Not an A+ because there were some stumbles like I said, and there's always room for improvement, but certainly much better so far than the previous POTUS did in the same period of time in both of his tenures. :head:

He's making some enemies today with conservatives in libertarians. After civil asset forfwiture was nearing it's death, he has said not only will he keep it, but he plans on ramping it up and making it more difficult to get YOUR belongings back after they've been seized. I read about it in a fox news article posted up by none other than Ted Nugent calling Trump out for his remarks about it. Many have lost there lives to blatantly obvious false civil asset forfeiture, and he wants to ramp it up.

I agree that some civil asset cases are so far out as to be unbelievable, and would also point out that they all have occurred under previous administrations. To the best of my knowledge none have taken place yet under President Trumps admin. That being said, understand that it's really a states issue. 12 states have passed laws making it necessary for the police to secure a conviction before they can seize the property. Asset forfeiture has become a great money generating tool for the police, and like anything that makes money for the government, it's subject to abuse by that same government. (Think of how much the cost of a speeding ticket has increased over the years as an example). Unfortunately, the same has become common practice in asset forfeiture cases in far to many states. Reform IS necessary, but the POTUS's remarks last week during the Sheriff's meeting and his appointment of Sen. Session's have done little to hearten opponents to the practice.

I agree, but I doubt that Hillary would do different, we NEED to call our representatives over and over !!

just wanna give yall a couple of questions to think about on this russian hacking topic. questions that i think are the really important ones that i never hear anyone asking

were the leaked emails fabricated, false or untrue?
by all accounts ive seen, no

what was in the leaked emails?
looks to me like the DNC and our setting govt at the time were trying to rig the election

why would the russians or anyone else be considered our enemy for telling the american people the truth?
same reason we have the second amendment, if you ask me

have the same people calling for action against russia ever meddled in foreign elections?
other than all the bombs that have fallen, regimes overthrown and countless cases of the obvious lets consider this... former POTUS obama, while in office, sent his entire campaign staff along with over 200 million dollars of taxpayer money to Israel where they ran a campaign for one presidential candidate over another. Israel! arguably our greatest Allie. this is a matter of historical fact, as is all the trouble it caused. no one denies it, the media just doesnt mention it

now theyve got this recording of some trump guy talking to some russian guy... well, WHO THE **** RECORDED THAT CONVERSATION?
oh it doesnt matter who recorded it, its what was said (not much) that matters. REALLY?

most important question i can ask right here...
why is "divide and conquer" called the oldest trick in the book?
is it because it stil works or is it because its so easy to do to a puplation that has been so dumbed down that a small group of people claiming to be a majority can sway so much power at the behest of a govt that is suppose to support the majority. all because our televisions have taught us that its the right thing to do

one more thing for DESTROYER... the "framers of the constitution" did not include term limits in our constitution. that came about around 1950, i think, after a very popular president sat in office way too long, accomplished way too much and when he was finally gone republicans and democrats in washington decided that they could never let that happen again and passed the 22nd (???) amendment
