Jeez Joe, sorry to hear bad things keep on happening but it's got to look up at some point.

My wife had a heart valve replaced a couple years ago and hasn't been the same since and hasn't been able to go back to work and likely never will. We went thru some dire straights financially and at the time a call to my state rep and the state attorney general got me some breathing room and got the mortgage company to get off their butts and do something for me.

Call your state rep and ask their office to call and write the mortgage company. I bet they have a direct line to Joe for Oil too. I'd tell the AG you think you were a victim of predatory lending and you need some relief. I found these two offices did the most for me.

I hope things start to look up for you and Mrs. MJ.

All the best,

Steve

Yep. People are just like horses... let a sick horse lay around and they never get better. Same with people. You must get and keep her moving. It's the
same with machines... actually, it's universally the same with everything.

I know that it's not quite the same thing, but Newtons first law (the law of inertia) applies to all moving things... An item at rest tends to stay at rest. an item in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force.

Keeping her moving and active actually is speeding up the healing process. Good work!!

Hey Joe, why don't you rent out your house.... Might as well draw from it as long as the bank doesn't take it... then if they finally foreclose, eviction is their problem

the bank has already changed locks, but i got them to give me a key. they also winterized the pipes, there is no heat, elet, wate r or anything, i don't know what they are waiting for?? they have invested some already?

A friend of mine went through this on his house. He lost his job when the market fell out, and lost his place. The bank kicked him out, then let him move back in so the house didn't sit vacant. After teh house went to auction 3 times after he was kicked out again, the bank purposely messed up some of the foreclosure papers so the house didn't go to them legally. Then when the property taxes and cleanign fees piled up from the county and city, they turned around and said it wasn't theres but his, and they came after him for over $15K in fees on a house they had forclosed on 2 years before. It is all a game to them, and they are playing it hoping to worm out of liability and fines in case something happens to the house.

I still say rent it out..... tell them to either take possession legally or PISS OFF

By changing the locks they have, in the eyes of the law, taken legal possession of it.
