Does anyone know where I can buy the Wellcraft name and logo - I am painting my boat and would like to know if there are stickers around.

Re: open for comments - V20 - 225 Honda

Hi Y'all,
Still waiting for my T-top to be finished. Tried to take out the pedestal seats - had trouble removing the screws that hold them down. One came out easily - the one near the side of the boat. The others were very hard to start - once I got them started, the just turned and did not come out - must be machine screws with nuts on the end. Sooo, how do I remove them? They go into a rectangular piece of the boat that looks like it might come out, but this piece goes under the console.
I am stumped on how to hold the nuts to get the screws out.
HELP !!
thanks,
Jack

You can probably apply some pressure on the nuts by wedgeing a putty knife or screw driver between the pedastal and the deck. If no space you may have to drill the bolt heads off

Airslot, you mentioned rpms. Being a new boater, what a good rpm cruising speed, if any. ?? Just off work and wanted to go for a quick ride in the Lewes canal, but have a major storm surging through Lewes right now. :'(
Thanks.

Hammer, I cruise 42-4400 rpms...gets me around 30-32 mph...if I'm inna hurry, I'll set it close to 5Gs...the motor loves to run there, but she's a little thirstier, too :D ...

Had to drill them. Got the pedestal out, but need to remove the remainder of the screws, and figure out how to reanchor the pedistal.
HELP !!!
thanks,
Jack

Just drill the screws all the way out! *Then take a wooden dowel and dip in some resin and hammer into the hole, let dry cut off dowel and you aren done.

When mounting the new seat just turn and anchor in fresh holes between the old ones.

If you have small holes Golf T's work great for the same kind of repair!!

Use 5200 or 4200 under the seat to seal when you screw it down.
