Sorry for the delay in news, my laptop batteries ran down, had to wait for my wife to bring the charger. Proceedure was a complete success, and my heart is back to beating normally. Not sure what caused it, they think it possibly is the 3-4 cups of coffee a day that I normally drink. Personally I think Spare is right, it's the pic of the 20 Pursuit with the etec. In all cases they zapped me with 350 volts and that got me running right again. I should be out of here sometime tomorrow. THANK YOU ALL for the good wishes and the prayers.. they really helped!! Kinda tired still, so gonna make this short. God bless... ttfn....D

Good news! If I'd have known you only needed 350 volts, I could have loaned you a Taser, they have a lot more than that.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...batteries dead, blame it on the wife...dog ate(or peed on) my laptop, yada, yada, yada...the excuses we hear for not posting in a timely fashion...we've heard 'em all by now...layin' around in the hospital don't cut it...

Bet ya got a tent rising in the sheets over the 20' Pursuit...I know I did...Hell I didn't know they made one like that...doesn't have the sweet flair of a V20, but I bet it's a HOSS w/the Etec!!...

Get outta the hospital soon...take a good hot shower and we'll be seein' ya down the road...

I'm sayin' with all you guys making hospital visits we need to start a Nurses of the Norton Snaggers calendar.

ya, thanks for FINALLY posting that you were OK...

They can do some amazing things with the heart sometimes.

I had SVT (short circuit in my heart), they went up through a vein and burnt the short circuit out (ablation).

Glad you are OK!

They actually discussed that method to me as one of the things that they could do. Kinda amazing when you think about it. I knew a lady a few years back that had the same proceedure done.. She said it was like being reborn to not have the constant fluttering feeling in her chest. :head:

Well mine would come and go, never knew when it would happen. When it did, I would feel a little dizzy and very weak. (OK, more than normal:bat:). I could usually get rid of it by laying down and hold breath hard\appy pressure to chest (push like taking a dump)...after a few attempts. Even though I was taking meds for it, it seemed to be happening more and more. It was akward when I was at a pats game, but a little more scary when I was out by myself in the V in the middle of buzzards bay...

One of the best things I ever did for myself...
