A couple observation on Garage holding the fishing challenge trophy. (Charleston and Barnegat) You never have to drive the boat. Captains put you on fish. Otherwise your watching from the dock. It had to be said Lee. :fam:

Ridge you know the old saying: Even a blind dog can hunt once and awhile!! So here's my take on the Captn statement: Even a blind "Captn" can get lucky once and awhile. :oh: :you:

How many specific spots did this blind Captain take your tired old arse too, in waters that are not even his own?
What bait were you using? Did that occur to you in a dream?
What pattern was the Captain running with his drifts to cover the grounds most effectively?
Did he try different drifts in different depths to try and find the almost non existent keepers in these waters that were not his own?
Did the Captain go on line and talk with every mariner he ran into to get intel on what was going on?
Was his boat set up to provide a comfortable day on the water with every piece of equipment and tackle needed to catch the non existent keepers in those unfamiliar waters?
Did the Captain not fish himself to make sure of the boat drifts in the narrow channels and passages that were tried? Did he do so to provide power drifts and to keep his charges on what were the most promising waters while avoiding the horrible boat traffic on one of the busiest boating weekends of the season?
Was the Captain not charming to the ladies encountered and provide camaraderie to the men of venture?
Was not a bottle of fine whiskey available to those who were in need?
Was not the Captain a Son of a Son of a Sailor with a Pirate's smile?
