Yeah, the Senate can create bills too, but ALL finance bills have to originate in the house. That's why this whole health reform has to start in the house...because it will require dispersment of moneys and increases in taxes. Even though there are some bills that have to start in the House, they too have to be approved by the Senate. Either way, both sides of congress have to sign off on any bill before sending it to the President to be signed into law.

when I came to this country, many years ago, they adviced me that, if I see somebody hurt, do not try to move or help that person untill paramedics arrived, because I could make matters worse, since I have no training. This government is moving the person without knowing what to do.

If CON is the opposite of PRO
Isn't CONGRESS the opposite of PROGRESS?
