My guess would be too big a capital investment to plop down in one year...even for GW...new engineering, hydro-testing, molds, donuts, etc...adds up...and time wise it'd be a crunch to get 'em all done in one model year...plus they mighta wanted to make SURE of the new design before goin' ALL IN!...

Oh, if yer wonderin' about the donuts?...engineers are worse than cops...they luvs them, some donutz!!...:sun:

Did someone say doughnuts?

I can verify that the newer GW's ride MUCH better than the old......mine was an 89 25'Sailfish, it was a really nice boat but my buddy has a 27'Sailfish (CV2 hull) and it is like night and day.

Like Willy said, my V-20 rides as good or a little better than that 25 GW.

But I sure wish I still had it, with some 4 strokes on the back.

The 22-24' Grady SV2s were my top choice when I was looking. There was a great deal on a decked out 93 Mako 233 (25' long, twin 150s on integrated bracket, 23 degree, gps, autopilot, radar, outriggers, 4 figures) that I passed on because it was bigger than I wanted. Its in Texas and may still be for sale if you're interested.

The flavor of the day is a 93-98 22 Seafarer. Preferably a 228G, but a 226 would work as well. If the right deal comes along, I'm a lookin. I may by one that needs a little updating before I sell the V, or may sell the V then buy one a little newer. We shall see...
