Nasty here too. Around 80 all day, dropped to a frigid 72 as soon as the sun went down.

I am up to 10-12 inches on the ground. just changed my second shear pin on the snow blower. I like this stuff. . My daughters are so excited.

I have been at work since 6:30pm we have about 6" of heavy stuff, I got the snow blower out and cleaned stuff up.
They say maybe 5" more of ocean effect snow by morning?
My daughter says I have 8" at home, so i guess there will be some cleaning up to when i get home.

:oh: Nooooo!!!!!
You know he just gonna be bustin hydraulic hoses left and right. And that just the least of it. You going to keep going to Wareham to fix it everytime it breaks?

What are you saying CB, it would be like giving a monkey a machine gun? I've heard MJ's very mechanically inclined, however he chooses not to do the work. He doesn't need to with you and BS around. He's a smart man. He is, however, a great weatherman. Not so when it comes to electricity (that ugly freezer incident).

macojoe 12-20-2008 12:29 AM

I will never have a plow, they just beat the crap out of your truck!!

And you are right Seacreats, I was very capeable of doing all my stuff for years!! I have worked on cars trucks and boats, but years of beating up my body is now catching up with me.
My back is gone from arthrits, hands gone from diabeties. Really i am crippled now in my hands. I was to have another operation xmas eve but it has been changed.

So I do rely on CB, BS and a few others now for a lot of help, maybe to much at times! And i thank them all!!

Snow has stoped a bit but has now started again, but light. I say here in Hyannis we have about 6" its tuff to tell as it started to rain for a bit.
And i think i did something to my back??

Seacrets 12-20-2008 11:42 AM

MJ, look at all the training you're giving them. They should be thankful. At 61 I keep telling myself that it's just a number, but some days it's harder getting out of bed. Take care of yourself. Enjoy your holidays.
