Sorry, the point really is not how many perished in the elimination of what every single world power felt was an iminent threat, what every admisnistration since HW Bush including every single democrat candidate and the previous democratic embarassment, I mean president clinton stated verbatim "he is on a path to obtain if he has not already done so weapons of mass destruction and has designs on controlling the oil flow of the middle east" so your attempt to catagorize MCain as someone who is a war mongerer is as far off base as it gets.
The facts are pretty clear unless you have selective memory. Do I believe that the republican candidate is a perfect specimen, hell no. But putting a socialist in office in a free society is absolutey insane.
If you feel that what you want is a socialist state then NoBama is your man. If you feel that a man that lies thru his teeth every time he talks with you and when he does address people like us Ozzie he talks down to us is better than a John Mcain then so be it.
I dont want what I earn taken and the crumbs of what the government does not want given out to those that have not earned it.
You are starting a new company, you have a vision, your idea, and you are willing to risk your own money to make it happen. You are exactly the kind of man that NoBama wants to tax even heavier than they are now, my two nephews who work on Wall St are paying 44% of what they earn to the various governments now. That is Fu@&ing thievery. NoBama wants to take more of it.
Anyone in this country, and this is my opinion, that would vote for someone who tells you point blank he is going to tax you more than you are being ripped off for now, tells you he wants to expand EXPAND the federal government in any way needs his freaking head examined.
Anyone who has assosiated his entire adult life with the like of a murderer, bomber and extreme socialist like Ayers and his wife
Has assosiated with a mininister like Wright for twenty years, called him his mentor and close friend, one who teaches black theology version or rather perversion of the good book
Someone who has assosiated with a PLO leader back when they were a full blown terrorist organization
Had his Harvard Law school payed for by a man who also used his influence to get him in to the school, a Sheik and supporter of terrorism worldwide
These are only some of the assosiations which he has repeatedly lied about and every single news agency in this country knows about it and has not reported on it. Like Tony Rezko.
My sweet Lord, this is a walking piece of sh!t, how an American can even consider voting for him is beyond belief.
John Mccain is not perfect but he is an American first and foremost, he has fought for us, for our country and suffered horribly for it. He has always tried to do the right thing and has never taken pac money, never once forced earmarks into a bill, and will stand up for the constitution which Nobama says is a imperfect document that needs to be changed, and that the Warren Court did not come close to doing enough, they did not discuss the imperfection of redistribution of wealth for example.
God please help us thru this

Blue, you might want to check what party was in office and got us involved in Viet Nam. Can you say Democrats (Kennedy and Johnson). 53,000 US servicemen dead. I think the congressional majority was Democratic. It's what happens when you let congress run the war and not the Generals.
Seacrets, I'm not saying the democrats weren't to blame...just saying that we should have learned something from the experience and try not to REPEAT for heavens sake.

What ALL this boils down to is what I've been sayin' for ever...whether you choose to be a Dem or a Rep just depends on how you like to be SCREWED!!...as for Gore being a Haliburton shareholder...no it's not right any more than Lady-Bird Johnson owning huge shares of United Airlines who had contracts to fly US soldiers to their deaths in Viet Nam...I don't believe the ability to own stock in a war-based enterprise should exist...sitting politicians should not have the ability to own Haliburton stock...until such regulation becomes law, then there'll be a conflict in interests...BUT when it's all said and done, George Bush lied about WMDs (how many times?) and HE'S the one who ultimately gave the order to go to war, KNOWING the huge positive impact it would have on his bottom line...talk about redistribution of income...take it outta the taxpayers pockets and straight into his(and Cheney's, Rumsfeld's, Rice's and all the other other pigs who lined up at the trough)...and premeditating all of it from the time Cheney was inserted into Haliburtion during the Clinton years...the whole thing was PLANNED...911 was the spark...yes innocents died in the towers...but Iraq had nothing to do w/it...the guys that did are still runnin' around in the mountains between Afganistan and Pakistan snubbin' their noses at us...:fight:

...and I think Ike was still in office when the first advisors were sent to Viet Nam

I saw a bumper sticker a while back...

"Are you tired of this sh!t yet?"
Vote Libertarian!

I gave the middle finger to both the repubs and dems and early voted for Bob Barr. We're screwed with a penis big enough for an elephant to feel it on so many levels tuesday.

Vote often on November 4th!

We realy need to get control back...it won't happen over nite, but if we'll just forget about party affiliation for a while and vote OUT the incumbent, Dem or Rep, good or bad, it'll send the message we need to send...that we still have control and we're tired of bein' SKRUED from both sides of the aisle...instead of the divisivness of us vs them being Dems vs Reps, the us vs them needs to become us vs the lawyers who want to become career politicians and fill their bank accounts from our pockets...that's where the real redistribution of income is happening...:hi:
