Give them some time, whatever you think is appropriate and don't except their compensation. Take them to small claims court in the town it was shipped from and sue for the whole amount plus expenses.

I just got off the phone with Dennis . . . He found the motor and it's on a pallet outside his office. Go down and pick it up!!
