are you linking a pic from PB or uploading from your computer

tsubaki 01-07-2008 05:32 PM

When I redid my signature picture the last time, I didn't resize it, just pulled it straight from the computer and it accepted it.:huh:

jasoncooperpcola 01-07-2008 10:22 PM

one last time. If it doesn't work i aint gonna worry about it.

I tried it both ways, neither worked, but thats ok, I'll either figure it out or you guys can just imagine that there is a pic there.

I haven't tried the [ &^$#%$#] method yet, I will when I get time.

tsubaki 01-08-2008 12:05 PM

MJ or somebody correct me if this ain't right.
This is how I remember doing it.
See if this is any different from the instructions to add signature pictures.
I think this is what I did.
The last time I added the signature picture, it accepted it without resizing.
(by the way go ahead and click "refresh" on your computer for the meanness of it)
click ***8220;User CP***8221;
click ***8220;Edit Signature***8221;
click and backspace to erase anything in ***8220;Preview***8221; and ***8220;Edit Signature***8221;
in Signature Picture click ***8220;Delete Current Image***8221;, click and backspace to erase anything in ***8220;Option 1***8221; and ***8220;Option 2***8221;.
Click ***8220;Save Signature***8221;
Return to and click ***8220;User CP***8221;
click ***8220;Edit Signature***8221;
in ***8220;Signature Picture***8221; click ***8220;Browse***8221; to install picture from computer and install in ***8220;Option 2***8221;
In ***8220;Option 1***8221; click and backspace to erase anything there
Click ***8220;Preview Signature***8221;
See if ***8220;Insert Signature Picture***8221; comes up (above ***8220;Delete Current Image***8221;), if so click it (if not, picture size requirements will come up and resizing is necessary)
Click ***8220;Save Signature***8221;
Your next post should reflect the signature photo.

macojoe 01-08-2008 12:21 PM

Ok I just did it myself

go to UserCP>
Edit Signature>
Option2>
Browse> pic the picture you want from your computer, and double click it.

You should now see it in the perview window.

now hit save signature at the bottom of page thats it, easy!

macojoe 01-08-2008 12:53 PM

I can't make it any clearer then that!!

C YENSEN 01-08-2008 01:13 PM

that is exactly what I did, and the pic showed up at the bottom, but would never show up in my preview at the top.

tsubaki 01-08-2008 01:18 PM

What about the "insert signature picture"?
I would have expected the last three clicks to be "preview", "insert" and then "save".

macojoe 01-08-2008 01:38 PM

Nope thats all I do no preview or anything it works fine??

You know what they say:

You can help some of the people some of the time, But you can't help the handicap no matter how much you try!

:jump::jump::jump:

jasoncooperpcola 01-08-2008 10:52 PM

thats exactly what i did. it shows up in my preveiw. but not here. its just f*** up!

msbhammer 01-09-2008 02:40 AM

My upload still says failed.

macojoe 01-09-2008 12:34 PM

For you guys linking pic to your signature, The old way with the [img] will not work!!

You must now use [SIGPIC] link [/SIGPIC] in order to see it!!

I can't help you guys anymore then I have. there are instructions, pictures, everything has been discussed!

scook 01-20-2008 04:48 PM

Yeah, I had to click on the "Insert Signature Picture" button to get mine to stick.
