Practical joker huh...

As for Willy, it is hunting season, maybe he's ducked out for a few? Hope it's nothing more than some R&R. He's probably scouting supermodels.

Hammer, I got to get back up your way for a coffee/donut deal. As I said before, I'll grab Turbo and CY.

Looks like it's gonna be a long winter / off-season in V-20 land. We're all old and broke, well, I'm comfortably middle aged, so I hope we see a few projects this winter.

Air...

Tony, believe it or not, everybody here was 16 one time or another. Nobody's going to hold that against you. What will be held against you is your decietfullness. Couple of things will carry you a long way on this earth...Honesty and Integrity with just a little education will get you by in life. So, if that is your picture, you look a little young for 16 ;)

no i have never been grounded or really punished for that matter i just dont make an allowencs the only thing i do around the *hosue is mow the lawn. that pays my cell phone bill and i get money when ever we go on trips nad i manage it well i still have some from our last trip almost a year ago. and like the little mercury kicker motor i saved up for a whole year to buy for that boat and i had enough left to get it installed and a new bracket for it.

i realized franco is not going to be happy i am 16 and not 20 but i did it for good reason. i didn't want to start the minor thing so every thing is clear now. EVERYTHING!!! and hammer quit worrying the v-20 is truly truly truly mine. i will take it out with pictures if you want me to.

Fish, its great you love V-20's, we dont wanna take that away from you, but some of our comments that we post really isnt for young ears like yourself. Enjoy all the fun with your V-20, but I think you need to find another site until you get older. I'm sure the site will still be here in a couple of more years for you. Come back then.

Send HAMMER donouts by looking up the address for the Lewes, De police department,
then got to the dunkin donuts site, they have gift baskets.

Just kidding, you sound like a good kid, you also sound mechanically inclined, with a good imagination,
did you ever think of teaching or engineering as a career.

My younger son has the same inclinations, he now is an art teacher
with his favorite work being scupltoring.
In his spare time, he restores classic bycycles.

Being a newbie I will withhold comments but there was a BGO (Blinding Glimpse of the Obvious)

Hey Hammer,

I found a new ICON for you to replace China Wreck Diver.

Gotta disagree HAMMER, maybe he is only 16, but have you watched MTV lately??? :o :o :o

I think this site is tame compared to the sites he could be involved with.
The few off comments that are made and Willy's pix are nothing compared to what
he is seeing and hearing on TV and in school.
The education on boats he is getting from this site is priceless.
If he can get into an R rated movie, then I feel he can stick around here, obviously this site is PG.

Sorry for the rant HAMMER, I still love ya man. :-*
This comes from raising two boys.

msbhammer 11-28-2006 12:32 PM

Re: Practical Joker found wandering!

LOL, thanks SKplablo, thats a good one. You get the posting of pics figured out yet.

Parishht, no problems disagreeing. It just really freaks me out a bit talking to someone thinking he's an adult who says he is 30, then 20, now 16. Maybe he is only 12. Willys pics are no worse then what you and I use to see in the old Sears catalog bra section. *;D

Just the whole talking to a minor on the internet thing disturbs me greatly along with all the lies.

Really need to sip on a hot coffee and nibble on a donut and think abot it, but I only have poptarts in the house this morning. *;D *

I was pretty sure he was a kid all along, the reason I asked him to come squeaky clean. Did you see the pic of himself and 2 dogs last night that he deleted quick? I'd say he's 14???

The kid thing is not a problem with me. If he came on the site and was truthful about his age and didn't do all that BS posting he could have been OK to have around. I just don't have patience or use for liars...he still ain't telling the whole truth IMO.

msbhammer 11-28-2006 12:45 PM

I just dont wanna see this site or any member on Date Line News because of this kid and his lies.

Re: Practical Joker found wandering!

Yup, don't want to be on Dateline, but I think we are all
good citezens that can guide him in the right direction.
Hopefully there are no preditors on this site.

One last thing, about declining age, whose wife hasn't said:

" I think you are 48 going on 8"

Re: Practical Joker found wandering!

Ok I have read about 99% of this thread!

First I have always none that he wasn't a day over 16!! I even told CB on the phone!

Fish in order to earn your respect here you need to do a few things!!

1 Think before you type!! If you have no idea what to say and can;t be any help then SHUT UP!!

2 Just tell the truth!! No one here is perfect (except Me)

3 Stop the story telling!! you just insult all those here that know you are full of crap!!

4 Stop the Sense less posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You jump all over the place posting nonsense!! And it must stop!

What ever # I am at now, just mellow out and follow the board!! we are all sick of having to put up with a kid like mentality!

Want to stay just grow up a bit and all will be fine! There is a lot to learn here and a kid at 16 could learn a lot!!
In a few years you will be the youngest and the smartest! If you pay attention!

Today is day 1, Be smart and you will be fine! And please get a spell checker!! I am sure Mac has one some were!

Download Firefox it works with mac and they have a spell checker. It has down wonders for me the Original Windtalker!!

Re: Practical Joker found wandering!

Ok, maybe I was to hard on you Fishbone, I'll consider this strike 2 with you. I seem to agree with Parishht and M.J. more and more now. Being a kid you could learn the most here on this site and maybe even be the best V-20 repair guy in the future if you put your heart into it.
So remember this little Grasshopper, its easy to for a grasshopper to get sqashed and stepped on, so fly straight for now on. We will be monitoring you.

Re: Practical Joker found wandering!

Wow, didnt see this one...just read it all.

I too didnt believe he was 30 for a minute, let alone an attorney...look at his grammER.

I am all about second chances...my life I full of em...my God has taught me that!! :)

I too can forgive and move on.

I have been on these types of boards for going on 5 or 6 years now. I am even mod and admin over a few.
Here is my take on the situation. Although I havent interacted with you as much as some others, I have read alot of your "lies" and such. I havent had much posting time as I once did. I just sat back and watched.....Jr, one thing you have to keep in perspective is that this is just the internet! Yes, it can be fun and you can meet great folks/friends on here, but it can also rob you of lots of valuable time too. Dont spend all your life on these boards...get out and DO some things, have some fun! I spend very little time online when I am not at work. I am out hunting, fishing, or just tinkering around the house. Most of us are the same way...we are just wasting time while on the clock. In 10 years when you look back and all you have to show for it is a bunch of internet type...you will be sorry. Go get some real life experiences under your belt...you will be a much richer and more fulfilled person for it. ;)

I also know its tempting at times to try and impress others, but you must know that if you spend any length of time on any of these boards the truth WILL come out bro...period. Keep in mind that no matter where you are in life honesty is number 1! I have to wonder if you would lie to someone's face...if you would online, why not then too? I suggest you get this "untruthfullness" under wraps and keep a tight leash on it. Right now it is a cute little puppy that is fun to pet and play with. However, as you mature into an adult it will be a full grown doberman that will bite the hand that feeds it and it WILL ruin your life. I have seen it happen to several people I know. :(

Like stated before, sit back and listen instead of flapping your gums so much...even as I get older (almost 30 now) I learn this more everyday. I love sitting and listening to people that are older (or just wiser) than me. It will get you alot farther in life than talking crap ever will. Keep in mind that young smack talking punks are a dime a dozen, but an upstanding young man that will shake your hand and look you in the eye is not. ;)

Now, with all that said I have no problem with you hanging around. Welcome back!!

8)

Josh
