Yep. I'm running the Grisoft AVG Anti-virus for close to three years now. Excellent software with no problems at all. No more McAfee or Norton AV for me. ;)

The secret?? A-P-P-L-E

When your current computer runs it's course, go to www.apple.com and you will be worry free.

APPLE is nice for MAC-N-CRAP

MAC's all have handles so you can throw them away easier.

Ask my son about getting a virus on an APPLE.

He got one of the rare ones and had a hard time finding the
software to clean it.

Come on Skools.....Mac's can and do get viruses as often? The first EVER virus for Mac OS X was reported in 2006 and it never widely circulated. By the end of 2005, there were 114,000 known viruses for PCs. Zero for Mac OS X. Again, not a single bit of spyware, adware , virus.....nothing. No antivirus software. I can't imagine having to run some app every day to keep the spyware away. My Mac is 5 years old and as fast as the day it was new.

Also, I run Microsoft Office on my Mac just fine and send files to PC users all the time with no problem (including the one I am forced to use at work). MJ.....if you happen to be up near Braintree stop in to the Apple store. You can see all the MS products you need in action. Microsoft Word, Excel etc etc.

Check out this video of a person performing fabulous new tasks on the innovative new Microsoft Vista......only problem is he is using a Mac with an OS from 2003. http://youtube.com/watch?v=sTeP_eh8XAA

hey we have several hunderd Macs at work and we have had virus's on them long before 2006, and yes even on OS X actually we had more problems out of OS x than OS 8 and 9. I see them all the time as a Computer Network / Data Communications Specialist.
