LOL I would LOVE to have a "pet" one though, seriously. It would be hard round here though, someone would shoot him. :-/

Alright,I already knew the fawn was named "Herbert", (named for her pain in the a$$ first husband) and the horses are "Sweet Pea" and "Deitz". She corrected me on the names (they got papers).

Caught (saw) 5 of these boogers at a job site this morning.

Each had a different color pattern, one was solid black except the tip of his nose was white.
This is on Modena Island, they got a bridge over to it about 10 years ago and developed it.
We use to camp there about 20 years ago.

My wife and two daughters love the pictures ;D The pics of the fawn with the horses are priceless and my wife also said your sister has a gift being able to feed hummingbirds like that.

This population is about 3 miles as the crow flies from the house.
The next group I know about is near 40 miles away.
I just can't help looking at these clowns when I see them.

Darn, I didn't know that I had tuned into Animal Planet when I turned on the puter ;D. Seriously those are some great pics. I a little worried that the Fawn is gonna grow up thinking hes a horse ;). I've never heard of anyone hand feeding Humming Birds, your sister does have a special gift.

My sister was over at daddys last night, said the fawn finds her when he wants in the house or to be fed treats. She said he comes out the woods calling "aaayyyy", when she's around.

squirrels, raccoons, when they invade your space and start destroying,
then they ain't cute anymore.

squirrels get in the attack and rip things to shreds.
raccoons will actually kill an outside dog by luring them
to water and drowning them.
Deer ticks with lyme disease and mange transferred to other animals.
