MJ - Find out where it is and go pick it up. It's still a lot closer than driving to BR's. Those people will fck' w/you now that you gotten hot on the phone with them. You'll be lucky to get a propeller delivered to your door. I'm dead serious. They'll just say take it up with the insurace company and get your $1200 back.

Well I got hot with the broker not the shipping Co.

So hopefully I will be all right??

They used Central Feright Co.

I just got off the phone and it is still showing that it is in LI ?? But they said something looked funny?? They are calling me back.

I told them what I want to know is when it will be in RI, And then hold there, I will go get it myself.

So I am waiting to find out wre it is when it willbe , and I will go.

Threaten to make them famous. That's right, they are going to be on prime time television! Because you contacted a national consumer protection agency and they are going to include your case in a national broadcast in October of this year that based on consumer fraud.....or they could just send the motor and not have to worry about it - their choice.

When they ask what agency, tell them they'll find out soon enough.

Also, you are filing a better business beauro complaint as we speak (you really really should do that anyway)

Its bad enough what they are doing to you, but on top of that all the LIES!! It just ain't right. >:(

Well, I looked up the NADA price for a 94 150 Yamaha and if they don’t “find” it I would demand that they pay you back for the shipping + about $2500 for the motor. Good Luck!

Well, I looked up the NADA price for a 94 150 Yamaha and if they don’t “find” it I would demand that they pay you back for the shipping + about $2500 for the motor. Good Luck!

The guy in RI called me back,

he says there is a all points bulletin out for the motor!!

Said he called LI and they said that they don't have it, and there dock is almost empty.

They think that it was put on a wrong truck??

I asked if there was Ins. he said yea but I am going to have to jump threw hoops trying to get it, and was not sure the way to go about it??

He is hoping that he will come in tomorrow and they will found it??

I told him I am not mad at him but this has been a mess up from the begining!!
And it was funny the broker said for me not to get mad at him cause I won't like it, then this happens!!
He said that there is no way the broker could mess with it after they have the motor.

He was pretty nice about all of it and I guess we will see what happens from here??

I am so sick by all this!! I had to go to Doctor this afternoon, wasn't feeling well, BP was 175/114 ! :o

My family is hateing me right now, My wife has been in the hosiptal including another Bi-pass a total of 10 days in the last 12, she came home yesterday.

I am gettingnready to just say **** the world!!

I have dealt with Central Freight in the past
while shipping production items for Heavy Trucks.

Same thing has happened, but the good news is
that when you least expect it and you think your freight is
lost in space,
it will show up.

My suggestion is to keep on them, call them every day.
We used to have a logistics person that did nothing but
this, tracking down freight. :P

well called shipping co again today, No luck :'(

They said they may never find it?? They have put a alert to all terminals to look for it.
But if the lable came off they won't be able to Identafie it and it will be lost forever

as for the ins. I will get the shipping and .10 cents a pound, thats $45 dollars for a $1200 motor.

I have to wait at least 2 weeks for them to see if they can find it?

MJ if it comes down to them telling you they outright can't find it I would advise you to get ahold of a buddy or friend you have in the local police dept. and report a theft, or at least ask him to make inquiries to the head of the shipping company by phone advising them that allegations of theft and fraud have been lodged and that they are requesting copies of all records, and have the same done where it was shipped from. Also if you have the serial #s that would help. The shipping company bosses do not like to hear from Police Dept's that they are being investigated, if it can be found they will make sure somebody that works for them pursues it.

Well do you have any buddies local pd wise. They can make inquiries for you, and depending on state to state you may be able to report it from where it was shipped or where the victim is located or both. Whoever shipped it should start. I know I have done inquiries for people I know and have even contacted the PD where the shipper is at to make inquiries for me and have gotten some results that way. If you have a local PD buddy he should be able to start that for you, this is assuming that all else fails. Rather hard to lose an outboard engine on a pallet.
