B. It would make them look bad

When Democrats talk about "border security" what they really mean is "more border resources" which simply means more government employees to process incoming immigrants. They have no issue with tens of millions of people coming into the US, depressing wages for legal citizens and costing taxpayers billions in benefits. Saying this is "tougher than Trump's" is complete and total Bravo Sierra. And obviously Democrats' "border security" has little to nothing to do with keeping undesirables out of the USA:

We already know most of Kamala's positions. For example, she supports taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained immigrants, and for federal prisoners.

She supports drastic cuts to ICE.

She supports an end to immigrant detention.

She supports ending ICE detainers (requests by ICE to local or state law enforcement to hold an individual up to 48 hours beyond their release time so ICE can take them into custody for possible deportation).

She supports the decriminalization of ALL drug possession for personal use.

Maya Angelou wrote, "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." Kamala Harris has already told us who she is, and when asked about her positions by CNN she said, "My values have not changed."
