because when we paper the wall we can tuck the paper under it, as water runs down hill. andersen and most of the new style windows have bottom flanges on the so we create over lap to over lap to over lap if im making any sence.:sun:and as we paper up the wall we will go over the top of the window overlapping the whole unit.

The original completion date was memorial weekend but I'm not sure now due to the amount of rot we found and as many as 5 layers of siding on certin parts of the structure , I'm thinking july 4th

looks great Kenny, I see you're prepped for a wrap-around porch/deck.....nice. Cedar shake on this one as well? Cedar decking or composite?

Thanks pete its shakes 18" R&R's red cedar and azek decking light grey, but were going to do clear cedar rails.:love:

Thats going in the first floor ceiling /kitchen/livingroom.I will post up some pics when the house mover comes to set the beam for me.:clap:

BTW it come in at 1800 lbs and is 25 feet long.

Yes nip theres several layers on there plus the original standing seam medal roof. it will look loike the garage, with a 50 yr timberline shingle.

Looking good!! and I am sweating on my project!! A friend came over yesterday and we gutted a room to the studs, new insulation were needed all new rock and muding one day, All most killed me

I bet your guys could have had it done in a hour!!

Slinger, you sure run a clean job!!...that steel beam tucked right in there nice!!...they'll be able to hang the trapeze there, no problem!!...on the outside where the old will meet the new cedar shakes...will you just let 'em weather to match or you got some slick trick up yer sleeve??

Hi pete ,
Thanks .... its a standard block foundation with durawall between each course then filled solid with grout. oh the block is resting on 12 x16 footing with 3 -1/2 rebarb.

A buddy of mine has that same Rigid table-saw on that same roll-away stand...NICE combination!!...it did take the last joint of his middle finger off a few years ago...and yeah, he knows it was his fault.

...and that electrician pictured workin' in that service box...watch out for him...what's on his mind is SHOCKING!!...:nut:
