That Sea Craft Mulv posted is beautiful, that would be the ideal boat I think for MJ. Might be a little too fast and sporty for the old guy though ;D
That Grady is a nice boat but I would stay away from any pre 90 Grady in my opinion. Actually pre 89. I have fished in three Grady's pretty often and in a 87 24 footer the past four years, heavy duty for sure but the pre 89 hulls rode like crap and the transoms on them rot away from the inside. Around here you can find guys trying to get rid of them for good prices. After 89 the hulls changed with a dramatic improvement in ride and handling and their transoms were better sealed and they stopped using industrial staples for the bonding of the core layers. |
