Well done Stinker, did you all save me some deer for next year?
Looks like a nice one, what did the inside spread come to ? |
Willy I keep deer through the year and usually dont run out till right at the opening of season the folowing year. We eat on it alot.
Inside spread was just shy of 18", G2s were 10 and 11". I took it to a buddy that has some 200 class whitetails on the wall yesterday and he aged and scored it. He said 5.5YO and scored 127. |
Whoa Stink, why'd you go pullin on that baby? Man, he's got at least another 3 years before I'd take that deer. Oh well, differen't strokes I guess.........
JUST KIDDIN DUDE! THAT IS A NICE BUCK! :oh::sun: But, very sad after seeing the pics of him in the bathtub, on the zip line, etc. etc. You two were very close at one time. I really hate to see it end this way. A tribute smiley in memory of "Bucky" :deer: |
That is one nice deer.
Just curious, are the deer in your area natural foregers or are the corn and other grain fed like here in my area of Pennsylvania? Oh yeah, BR, I'll bet once Buckey gets mounted he will be put to good use as a pink thong drying rack. |
parish,
We plant food plots is the fall for hunting and some soybeans in the summer strictly for nutrition. Very little large farming crops around the area I hunt, but there is alot of peanut farming throughout the state. Supplemental feeding (corn, grains, etc...) strickly for hunting over is illegal here. You can feed, but not hunt it. Deer here mostly survive off of natural mass crops and browse. |
Nice, VERY NICE.
5 1/2, that's a granddaddy!! 127 is a grown SOB. What did he weigh? Great goin Stink. |
He was pushing 200 hard.
