That's a GREAT job, Stinky...look ALL around that tank paying close attention to CONTACT SURFACES...that's where the wear will be...if you don't detect excessive wear, then like MJ said...pressure test and install if it passes PT ... ;D...

Ground Wire...when you put her back in, don't forget the ground wire... ;D...

Great pics! That fuel tank looks EXACTLY like mine did when I pulled it -- minus the holes, evidently. You can see pics in my gallery. Tanks are very costly, so if yours looks OK and pressure tests, you might think about reusing it. I didn't have any choice in the matter.
Choose wisely, grasshopper. ;)

A single 150 or 175 gets about 2 1/2 to 3 miles a gal. X by 46 gal you will get aporxmently safley 120

But that said it all depends on the water at the time?

but that is how I figure mine and it is pretty right on!!

I always deal in gallons used per hour. My old 155 hp burned an average of 7 gph. On my first full tank to full tank with my new 200, I burned 5.4 gph in all-around use. If you know the rate at which your engine burns fuel, you can compute your range. But I would always allow at least a 25% margin for safety.

I have 3 tanks 20, 20, and 25 1 to get there, one to get home, and one for spare!
I keep tracked by when they get empty!!
