Well, I am going to drill a few holes in my starboard rod holders to hold hooks/lures. There are alot of times I am fishing offshore, running from spot to spot and we run across a school of spanish or kings. We re-rig with spoons and chunk and then rig back. These spoons inevitably end up on the dash or in the floor. I hate that....this will help.

I am also working on organizing my extra needed, but not so often used tackle into small tuperware and then into rubbermade totes for somewhat dry storage in front and one back compartments. The other back one will have both batteries, if they will fit....I think they will.

I am going to clean those compartments up too and repaint them as well.


I am getting some more starboard tomorrow...I am trying to think of what else to build now!!! ::)

Another buddy just seen my anchor pic and reccomended a piece of clear rubber hose split for the anchor chain. I like that idea! 8)

My chain is coated with white rubber. I don't know if it was made that way or the previous owner hot dipped it or what??

awesome mods stinky!!!..i'm digging that tackle box mod....only prob is...i live in norfolk...i'm scared to leave anything of value in my boat lol....like the anchor mod too!

Kajun, all you have to do is park the boat next to the window. Sleep with your shotgun and one eye open :)

The way I toss and turn I would just blow a hole in the side and have more repairs to do. :P
