pull the hub and measure the spindle with a set of calipers, if you don't have any, use an open end wrench of the same size, ie: 1 1/16 wrench and 1 3/8,

Wouldn't the larger dia. bearing would be on the insde ...

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm picking up a new set of Goodyear Marathons today and will be doing some other maintenace to the trailer. I found a site on Ebay, where for $60 you can buy a new set of hubs completely assembled with stainless lug nuts and bearing buddies. I don't want to worry about the trailer as I plan to take the boat to some different areas this season.

Been runnin' Marathons for several years now...TREMENDOUS improvement if you were runnin' bias-ply tires B4...


Good price on those hubs, too ;) ...sounds like ya be ready to go soon 8) ...

That sounds like a great price!!

My worse fear is to have to leave my boat on the side of the road!!

I had to do it once in 17 years in the spring of 2003, in the spring of 2004 came a brand new trailer!
