Sorry, it seems I'm in a bit of a smart a$$ mood this morning, and I couldn't stop myself. But I'm having fun today ;D

mine has been like this since 1987. *same bottom machine & loran (for you kids, that was pre-gps) no issues with the black.

and they both still work.

Nice 760, I got one just like it. As accurate as they get, but a little slow to track when running above 30(but there only rated to 40 MPH).

I would clean up the dash, fill with Formula 27 sand smooth, no need for paint! Paint just will chip and look like crap later!!

I like the idea of filling holes and painting it will smooth and easy to clean

ferm, that was bought in 82 new for $1400 dollars & still works great. this is the 3 boat it has been on. i started to dump it 10 years ago for all gps(with loran conversion). glad i didn't those conversion numbers are way off. once i get there with the loran, i get a good gps number, then next time i use the gps to find it.

I have a Sea Ranger loran I am going to use to get back to my old fishing spots. It is from around 1984.....hey, same year as my V.
