i mounted mine sideways to allow for the shank on the larger anchors. if you haven't bought the anchor tensioners yet , i'd hold off and try it without one . just wrap the chain around the cleat. i have 3 buds who got one and never use it now. |
Re: Something Extra
I love your exstended bow rail. Sharp. ;)

Re: Something Extra
Yep bow rail is nice! I just use a small bungee I made with a hook, never had a tensioner

Re: Something Extra
Hammer, mine plan is to put the cleat cross ways on the back of the pulpit. I have a 10" cleat being delivered today. I think I'll have plenty of room to mount the tensioner inline, will know for sur this afternoon.

Re: Something Extra
Air, as far as you anchor rope goes, do you store it all inside the anchor locker, the square section that is cut out, where you see your bow eye for hooking to the trailer. Looks a bit small for alot of rope. ???

Re: Something Extra
It looks small, but will hold 300' of 3/8"

Re: Something Extra
You would be surprised how much rope you can cram in a small small. Just ask my wife. :D

Send Pics. Stinky. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Re: Something Extra
As stated earlier by Airslot and I, those pulpits could be slightly longer. If mine was only six inches longer, I would be adding this to her. I personally think this is sweet. ;D
