Ya know randleman, that ain't a bad idea...I've considered it...ski day spare; it'd have to be alum...can't afford to have another SS layin' around :-/ ...

REEL, if ya knew what that honda ss prop really cost, you'd have a couple of em. When I helped some friends rig out their 26 Glacier Bay a while back, I was proppin in cause they and the dealer were jammed up. Anyhow, when the new props came in, I went to pick em up and the invoice was still in the box. Lets just say theys got a big big markup on stainless...

Pescador, or should I say Fisherman! ;)

I just got a V20 so I'm not experienced with these boats as are the fellas here. One thing I know is I don't need to go faster than 42 MPH and that's what I get on mine V20 cc w/ a 150 Ocean Runner.

To play on the lake and drag the kids on wake boads I have a less agressive prop to give me more torque and better holeshot.

150's great, 175 is greater, and 200 starts to get overpowering. Newer 200's also make the boat stern heavy. Jackman was last seen this morning screaming across the lake in a blur with the letters E T E C 200 faintly visible on the back of the boat. HE ain't outa gas yet cause he ain't posted. Most of us are very pleased w/ a 150, I am. I've run a 200 Merc on a 92 CC, and I'm fine with my 150.

True, true. But the two-stroke 200 is lighter than the 4-stroke, and has worked out great for me. My former 155 got slower its last few years -- it got so that if I had any bottom growth and tried to carry 3 or 4 friends I had issues getting up on plane. Of course, it was an OLD 155. As for the fuel, my 200 is more efficient than my 155 was! :)

Now all ya gotta do is tell me HOW to get 'em at that invoice price and I'll have a couple around ;) ;D ...

I have a 1994 150 Johnson and it is plenty of power. At top end I hit around 40 and on about a 1' chop I hit around 45mph and it will yank a 220 skier right out of the water.
