Re: Another battery question

I have total of 4 batteries...2 AC Delco Voyager Deep Cycle Group 31s for trolling motor ONLY ... purchased in 2001...

Also 2 Group 24 "Starting/Deep-Cycle" Die-Hards for cranking and accessories ... purchased in 2003...

Each pair of batteries is on their own onboard charger that keeps them at full charge when not in use...it could all go in the dumper tomorrow, but to date I've had no battery problems since putting this system in place...oops...oh yeah, had to put distilled water in the two Die-Hards last year
;) ...

Sears, Interstate, Guardian, are the 3 I use normally. *I just look for a 60 month Battery with a 1 or 2 year free replacement

I have two Walmart batteries that I have been using since 03, they never have let me down, but they are marine batteries. Maybe the Walmart car batteries are not good.

I ran an Interstate battery in my 72 Chebby PU for 15 years. ;D

I run two Stowaways that I exchange every year at Academy for free, just because its one less thing to worry about. 8)

FYI, dont seat your electronics so much...they require less power than anything else on the boat. Lights, pumps, trolling motors, etc will suck batterys dry way faster. ;)
