Re: Another battery question
I have total of 4 batteries...2 AC Delco Voyager Deep Cycle Group 31s for trolling motor ONLY ... purchased in 2001...
Also 2 Group 24 "Starting/Deep-Cycle" Die-Hards for cranking and accessories ... purchased in 2003... Each pair of batteries is on their own onboard charger that keeps them at full charge when not in use...it could all go in the dumper tomorrow, but to date I've had no battery problems since putting this system in place...oops...oh yeah, had to put distilled water in the two Die-Hards last year ;) ... |
Re: Another battery question
Never took my battery out the boat, been sitting since Nov, no charger or anything, went out last week turned the key and started right up!! ;D

Re: Another battery question
I run two Stowaways that I exchange every year at Academy for free, just because its one less thing to worry about. 8)
FYI, dont seat your electronics so much...they require less power than anything else on the boat. Lights, pumps, trolling motors, etc will suck batterys dry way faster. ;) |
