I applied to Raliegh maybe 15 years ago. Backed out of teh hiring process, didnt like the city life for the kids.

That's what's good about this area (central NC) I work for a 580 man PD in a city of 400,000 but live in a town of 2000. 20 minute drive to work.

Yeah, its a bunch......a good excuse for not handing out Christmas cards. I used to know most of the people but now I will pass someone @ the PD and wonder who they are, it will turn out that they have been here 5 years.
