Re: NJ Gov Crash

The very arrogant Lt Gov in this state... has been pulled over 3...that's THREE times for speeding...last time got outta the car asking the cop "do you know who I am?''...has police radio in his vehicle so he can listen...while drivin' in excess of 100 mph...and these morons down here RE-elected him :o ...which is a fine example of what partisan politics will get ya :( ...

I don't know if it is only propoganda but it has been reported that a section of the guardrail came up thru the floor of Corizine's SUV and if he had been buckled in he would have been cut in half.

Re: NJ Gov Crash

I have almost 10 years of ambulance experience in my past, working in both southern and northen CA. *I have only seen one death where the driver was wearing a seatbelt and in that particular wreck he was going to die no matter whether he wore a restaint or not (car went 200+ feet down a steep, rocky embankment into a river).

On the other hand I've witnessed MANY people killed, paralized or with permanent brain damage because they weren't wearing a seatbelt and were ejected from a tumbling car.

When I worked in the ER I used to say that drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and people who don't wear seatbelts were my job security. *Not wearing a seatbelt is bad JuJu and a good way to remove yourself from the breeding population in a hurry.

I have had the privelage of working for the good gov. on many occasions. He and his ex-wife own a house in Bridgehampton and they throw an average of 4-5 parties a year. Fortunately for us, they have us cater every event. We even did one at the govs mansion last summer. I must say that he is always a down to earth approachable gentleman. Not that this justifies going 91 mph without a seatbelt!

You'd be a nice fellow too I'm sure if you were worth over 250 million even after you bought the NJ Gov office ;)

Very true! Unfortunately most of the people in the bridgehampton zipcode don't act the same ;D
