Re: Recessed docking lights?
Would they work on a V-20. I went and looked at your gallery, thought you had them, but thats a future drawing for port holes you had.

Re: Recessed docking lights?
Seems like asking for trouble, cutting holes in your bow. I would think on a V-20 you would have to be so close to the waterline with the holes that they would be constantly wet.
But I don't know much about this stuff. |
Re: Recessed docking lights?
I agree with randleman on the 20...with all that flair you may have to put em low. :o
Not so much on my 18, especially is they are installed and sealed correctly. As much night fishing as I do running without is asking for ALOT more trouble IMO. ;) |
Re: Recessed docking lights?
Somebody should try it. Stinky, crank up that chain saw bud. ;D

Re: Recessed docking lights?
Stinky...have ya considered a remote-control spotlight?...mounted on bow, opposite helm, it'll fire a beam where ya goin', plus into turns w/ controls...AND all the other things you can use a spotlight for ;) ...much more versatile than fixed bow-lights ... 8) ...
Not necessarily from Worst Marine, but this is the one I like... http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...allpartial/0/0 |
Re: Recessed docking lights?
Quick somebody buy my boat, but without the hardtop. :o :o :o :o :o :o
Figured I get a head start on Charlie. ;D |
Re: Recessed docking lights?
RAP, Ive thought about it man, but the whole reason Im doing this is to remove the ones I have and clear off the top deck. Trying to clean it up a bit ya know?
Gonna take off the bow rail too. Ive got something in the works that I just thought about yesterday...pics to soon follow. ;) |
Re: Recessed docking lights?
I think you should build a custom aluminum radar arch for your boat and mount remote light on top of it.
Hey, do you have smileyface covers on your KC's? |
