Oh you'll be hearing from me Franco, When it comes to figuring out that spaghetti behind the dash I start out confused and it goes down hill from there ::) it needs the running lights(twin) in the bow redone. I want to install larger ones that will actually be visible to an oncoming boat and there is some rewiring of the battery and other transom things I want to go over..

Also I'm going to be installing my 9.9 Suzuki on the transom, as soon as I figure out a way to do it and be able to steer from the helm. With that 28" armstrong bracket it will be hard to connect them with one of those steering arms

Also can anyone tell me can u tow your boat with the top and enclosure up or do ya have to pull it all down, I'll be trailering mine all the time ???

willy, I just had an enclosure installed...asked the guy the same question. He said for a short distance and under 40 MPH it would be ok, but as a rule you should'nt. I live 1.2 miles to my ramp so I've got no issues there...as I make my way EAST this fall, to MONTAUK, she will be in the down position.Thats about a 75 mile drive for me. BTW Willy, I told someone on this board that Fillet1 was selling...was that you? I've forgotten,... just a couple weeks back....anyway good luck w/the boat it's a nice package

Depends on how far and how fast, I towed with mine uo for two years!!!! Just gotta make sure the snaps are tight. Just keep it under 35mph and you should be okay

Re: Fraternal Order of Norton Snaggers

Thanks Phes and Franco looks like I got to put it down :( longer and faster trip, nobody does under 70 in NJ so I'll have wind wash if nothing else. And Phester I saw your post but I had already bought his boat by then I think, can't remember for sure. I tried to get ahold of him back in June when he posted he was selling but no contact until a few weeks ago

Willy, I'm like Phester and Franco...low speed (under 40 mph) and short distance, top up is OK, but anything over that and you're gonna ruin one of the best assets of your new boat... ;)...Tell Fillet to poke his head in here from time to time and let us know how he's doin'...always enjoyed his posts... :)...

Re: Fraternal Order of Norton Snaggers

Alright, I'm out of the woodwork.

Willy has robbed me of my boat. Er actually, I have robbed myself. It is a combination of things. Family obligations, work obligations etc combined with other friends dragging me offshore on the few chances I get to get out.

Despite all that I have sellers remorse already and Willy hasnt even picked it up yet. I did a lot of work on the boat over the winter and am very happy with it. I hope he is too.

BTW I see "Norton snagger" has become quite the phenomena around here. I still want my royalty as a founding father!!
